Privacy Policy for Text Messaging
Effective Date: July 1, 2026
1. Introduction
Rosebay Behavioral Health (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information about you when you opt-in to and use our text messaging services.
2. Information We Collect

Device Information: Information about your device, including IP address, operating system, and browser type.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide, manage, and facilitate our text messaging services (e.g., appointment reminders, care coordination, and billing).
Communicate with you and respond to your inquiries.
Send you information and updates related to our services.
Improve our services and develop new features.
4. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
5. Security of Your Information & HIPAA Notice
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you use our text messaging services. However, please be aware that standard SMS text messaging is unencrypted. As a behavioral health provider, we advise that any Protected Health Information (PHI) sent via standard text messaging may not be entirely secure. By participating in our text messaging services, you acknowledge and accept the inherent privacy risks of communicating potentially sensitive health information over unencrypted SMS. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
6. Your Choices & Message Details
You have complete control over your participation in our text messaging program:
Opt-Out: You can opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message you receive from us. Upon receiving your request, we will send one final message confirming your opt-out.
Help & Support: For assistance or customer support, reply “HELP” to any of our text messages.
Message Rates and Frequency: Please note that message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies depending on your interactions with us.
If you opt out of text messaging, we may still send you non-promotional messages through other communication channels (such as email or phone calls) regarding your account or our ongoing business relations.
